El retrato del expresidente y primera dama de Estados Unidos fue develado esta mañana para formar parte del National Portrait Gallery.
Los retratos ahora serán parte de la única colección completa de retratos de expresidentes de la Casa Blanca.

"Nunca me hicieron un retrato de mí mismo", dijo Obama después de la presentación. Luego recordó el póster "Hope" hecho por Shepard Fairey durante su campaña presidencial de 2008 y añadió "ese fue genial, pero no posé para él".
Su retrato fue creado por Kehinde Wiley, artista neoyorquino.
